A post to go on "Give a Gripe!"

Now while some may ask "Why did you decide to join this group of bloggers, Sarah?" I say, "Because they're cool and witty (although somewhat insane), and I thought I'd give that a try." ;)
And also test whether I'm witty and insane enough to actually make a nonsensical sense making post. Besides sanity is relative as many so kindly remind me.
Anyway,
Today someone asked if I was in a circus. I told them no. But what if I had been? What's so bad a about being in a circus? I mean, come on, you get to do all kinds of cool stuff. You can explore the world, act silly and crazy, and no one would know better.
Hanging from the roof, flipping and twirling through the air, riding elephants, making people laugh. After all laughter is the best medicine, isn't it?
At least that's what I know of circuses.
Since I have never personally been in one, been to one or seen one, who am I to know? But still, the idea of being a circus is intriguing. You can play gypsy and travel the world over. Meet new people every day. Walk the tightropes. Act totally crazy without getting strange looks. Play with all types of trained animals. You get to play dress up everyday. And when people ask you why you've been all over the country (or world), you just give a pleasant smile and say "Yes, I'm in the circus. I'm the clown I do tricks and play with the lions and elephants...Wouldn't you love to be in one too?" Give a honk to your red clown nose, do a flip and twirl as you catch a trapeze and dance away.

Ephesians 5:13-14 ~
13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
14For this reason it says,
"Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you."

You know it's so easy to just fall asleep. Whether it may be to temporarly forget the cares of the world, or just to rest for awhile. I was reminded of this fact this past Sunday. And the worse part is, if you are asleep spiritually, you don't realize it, because you aren't aware of your surroundings. And it's so easy to just want to let up your guard and relax, but we must not. Because the devil never sleeps, he's always busy doing his evil deeds. We need to combat the want to sleep by remembering what Jesus has done for us. Oh, how little I deserve all that He's done for me, and continues to do for me every single day. I must say that I often lose sight of all He's done, and get caught up in the world. So, I am grateful for the reminder from my pastor this Sunday, that we must wake UP!! We cannot sleep any longer. I need to remember all the wonderful things Jesus has done for us, how much He sacrificed for me, a wicked horrible sinner, before I knew Him. Oh, how I love Jesus. Lord you are so wonderful to me. What a wonderful Savior and Father! You alone are holy and amazing!

I love this song. tis tre awesome. =D

Aaron Shust - My Savior My God

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed, what God has planned
I only know at His right hand
Stands one who is my Savior

I take Him at His word and deed
Christ died to save me; this I read
And in my heart I find a need
Of Him to be my savior

That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior

Chorus (2x's)
My Savior loves, My Savior lives
My Savior's always there for me
My God: He was, my God; He is
My God is always gonna be

Yes, living, dying, let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring;
That He who lives to be my King
Once died to be my Savior

That He would leave His place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my Savior

Chorus (2x's)

(Instrumental)

Chorus: (2x's)

My Savior loves, My Savior lives
My Savior loves, My Savior lives

This is currently my favorite chapter of the Bible.

Psalm 19

The Works and the Word of God.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.

1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
2 Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.
4 Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their utterances to the end of the world
In them He has placed a tent for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
6 Its rising is from one end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the other end of them;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether.
10They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold;
(T)Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.
11Moreover, by them Your servant is warned;
In keeping them there is great reward.
12Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.
13Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins;
Let them not rule over me;
Then I will be blameless,
And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.
14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.
